The iOS 12 Beta Configuration Profile Is Available!
On June 5, Beijing time, Apple officially announced iOS 12 at WWDC 2018. The new system adds features such as FaceTime group calls, Memoji, and parental controls. The iOS 12 beta became available after the keynote.
Note: this iOS 12 update is a beta. Early versions have many bugs, and some apps are incompatible, so I wouldn't recommend it for most users. It is intended only for developers and a small number of users who want an early look. 1. Before upgrading: connect your iOS device to iTunes and make a full-device backup (essential). 2. Download the iOS beta configuration profile. You can visit ibeta.me in Safari and enter your passcode to install it on your device. 3. Restart your iOS device. 4. Go to Settings – General – Software Update to get the iOS 12 beta OTA update package. 5. Download and install the update. To downgrade, follow these steps: 1. Download the iOS firmware on your PC/Mac: https://ipsw.pw/. 2. Connect the iOS device you want to downgrade to your computer and open iTunes. Once it is connected, hold Shift on your computer's keyboard (hold Alt on a MacBook) and left-click Check for Update. 3. Select the corresponding firmware to downgrade. Wait until iTunes reports that the system update is complete. Finally, have fun with iOS 12!
